Anxiety, intrusive thoughts, trauma, tics, and other emotional challenges can affect children, teenagers, and adults alike, often making everyday life feel overwhelming. I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy which will help you better understand your symptoms, develop effective coping strategies and regain confidence and peace of mind. You don't need to navigate these challenges alone.

If you would like to see how I might be able to help you, please send me an email with any questions or schedule a free, 15 minute consultation call so that we can discuss what you are struggling with and book an intake appointment.

Hi, I’m Karen Feeney

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience and advanced certifications in Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, Prolonged Exposure for trauma, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and Comprehensive Behavioral Interventions for Tic disorders.  I use a cognitive behavioral therapy approach with an emphasis on exposure therapy.

It’s important to me to create a space that is comfortable for all of my clients.  I have intentionally chosen warm and cool colors for my office to create a cozy and calm space.  There is a designated kids area with brighter art work, a sand table, doll house, figurines, fidget toys and arts and crafts materials.  Feel free to have your child being a snack, stuffy or whatever makes them most comfortable.  For adults and teens, I have a comfortable couch, plenty of places to put your coffee and a charging table.

I work with clients from age 5 through adulthood, in person in Auburn, Massachusetts and online via telehealth throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.
