Karen Feeney LICSW
Anxiety, OCD, trauma and tic specialist in Massachusetts & Connecticut
When I was 10, I went through two significant family challenges and was able to experience first hand how beneficial therapy can be. These experiences significantly helped shape my career path.
I have been in practice for over 25 years, including early years in mental health clinics, schools, Head Start programs, and primary care offices. Over time, I noticed that many of the clients who came to me for anxiety were actually living with obsessive compulsive disorder, and they were not getting the specific treatment that would help them. That realization led me to pursue years of intensive training at the leading institutions in the field.
Today I specialize in OCD, anxiety, trauma, and tic disorders, working with clients from age 5 through adulthood. My approach is collaborative, personalized and grounded in the treatments with the strongest research support.
